Which do you prefer? (Quick answers–we’ll do more detail at some later date)
Reading something frivolous? Or something serious? I've got enough seriousness in my life, so frivolous for sure!
Paperbacks? Or hardcovers? Paperbacks are easier to read, but hardcovers look better in shelves. Hmm. I'm picking hardcovers because I'd read it anyway and at the end they'd look good in my shelves.
Fiction? Or Nonfiction? Fiction. What's more fun than emerging into a world where unimaginable things happen and scary creatures hunt down humans? LOL
Poetry? Or Prose? No preference.
Biographies? Or Autobiographies? Depends. If the person I want to know about is alive then of course I'd rather read an Autobiography, but otherwise I'm stuck with Biographies.
History? Or Historical Fiction? Historical Fiction with a touch of truth.
Series? Or Stand-alones? Series. You get to know the characters more deeply and you grow with them. It's an amazing experience.
Classics? Or best-sellers? That's funny. Classics were once best-sellers. I'm not one to read what most people like so I'm choosing neither.
Lurid, fruity prose? Or straight-forward, basic prose? Lurid.
Plots? Or Stream-of-Consciousness? Plots with a little stream of consciousness.
Long books? Or Short? Long. Short books sometimes lack details and always leave me wanting more.
Illustrated? Or Non-illustrated? Non?
Borrowed? Or Owned? Owned. I like collecting books and I like reading the ones I like over and over.
New? Or Used? New, I guess. But I have bought used books in perfect condition.
